2026 Napier Celebration
Together We Turn the World

The Napier Initiative hosted its annual Celebration Event on April 11, 2026, welcoming more than 200 guests to Pilgrim Place to honor its intergenerational learning programs. With a theme of "Together We Turn the World," this year's event honored 11 Napier Fellows from The Claremont Colleges and their Pilgrim Place resident mentors, as well as those connected to intergenerational courses held in partnership with The Claremont Colleges. Zumaya Toussaint-Farrell and Nathan Flores, both from Pomona College, were named as this year's Minus Awardees, each receiving a $20,000 grant to conduct fellowship projects that align with Pilgrim Place's values of justice, peace, and care for the earth. Daniel Fernández from Claremont McKenna College was named as the Troxell Prize Awardee.

The Napier Initiative expresses gratitude to its many volunteers who make these efforts possible, as well to its generous event sponsors and donors who collectively gave more than $92,000 in support of these awards and programs.
